In the workshop, the Fra lamp takes shape through careful and patient work. It is not just a lamp. It is a project built with respect for materials, for simplicity, and for light.

Everything starts from a solid yet porous block of Limestone, taken from the caves of Salento, in Puglia. This stone has been used for centuries in Mediterranean architecture. Wind and time have shaped it, giving it a warm, golden color that reflects the earth and the sun of my land. Its softness makes it perfect to work by hand.
Each Fra lamp is shaped by hand using simple tools and a lot of patience. The process is slow and precise. The stone is hollowed out, the surface is smoothed, and the inside is carved to hold and spread the light.

Fra is more than an object. It is a tribute to my land, to Puglia, and to the tradition, materials, and craftsmanship that belong to it.
